Third Announcement and Call for Abstracts
Dear friends
As you may know, the website of the ICZ has been launched! Please visit http://iszscon2012.haifa.ac.il/ for updated information, especially in regards to accommodation in Haifa and the general structure of the meeting.
Please note that on the morning of September 2, a panel discussion on "The Future of Animal Evolution under the Human Aegis" will be held at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. If you are interested to spend the weekend before the Congress in Jerusalem, see information concerning the panel and accommodation in Jerusalem on the website.
We are enclosing a list of proposed symposia. We also have sessions for oral and poster presentations, not connected to the proposed symposia. When you send your abstract, please indicate if it falls under any of the proposed symposia or if you wish to present as an oral or poster presentation. The organizing committee will do its best to fulfill your request.
Abstracts should be submitted as a word file and should be one page long (regular A4 paper size). Please use Times New Roman, 12-point font, with a space of 1.5 between lines within the text. The text should include the following sections:
1) a short Background with the aims of the study; 2) a very brief description of Materials and Methods; 3) Results; 4) Discussion and main Conclusions. Please list five key words at the end of the abstract. For the title, contributors and their affiliations please use the following format example:

Conference Registration Fees:
Members – 350 EU
Active students - 120 EU
Accompanying persons – 150EU
Fees include: Abstract book, coffee, tea and refreshments, four lunch tickets, opening ceremony and a half-day tour.
A special half-day tour will be organized for accompanying persons.
An extra fee of 25 EU will be charged for the society dinner.
Payment should be made before 30 June 2012. An additional 50 EU for members and 30 EU for students will be requested after the deadline.
